We are here for you and you are here for us. The current leader of Penn State-Hershey Korean Community is Dr. Jong Yun. If you have questions or comments, please let us know by e-mail at jky1@email.psu.edu or slee1@hmc.psu.edu. Thank you for visiting us.
Penn State-Hershey Korean Community consists of Korean and Korean-American faculty, staff, researchers, physicians, and students affiliated with the Penn State Hershey College of Medicine and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. It was founded by Dr. Jason Kim in January of 2006, and it is an official Penn State University non-profit organization supported by Dean's Council on Diversity, fund raising, and private donation. We hold monthly meetings with research seminars or clinical case presentations to exchange information and share our knowledge. We also have Fall and Spring picnics that gather our families for a fun-filled day of food, entertainment, and sporting events. All of these events invite Koreans and Korean-Americans at neighboring institutions (Penn State University at Harrisburg, Millersville University, Shippensburg University, Hershey Food Inc., local biomedical science industries, local hospitals and medical/dental/other health-related offices).
9/3/10 (Friday, 4 pm) meeting at Hershey Center for Applied Research (HCAR) Room 1100
5/28/11 (Saturday, 11AM-5PM) Spring Picnic (Dr. Jong Yun's house)
